webmutant radio

Ever hit that point where everything else just doesn't matter? Where the only thing that exists in your whole world is the work in front of you? There's no monitor, no keyboard, no desk, no hands, no eyes, just the graphics and code that are spilling perfect from your mind right on to the Web. My friend Bjørn Townsend calls it codeflow, and it's a good state to reach.

You haven't, huh?

Hmmm. Maybe you're listening to the wrong music.

I hit that brainspace pretty often, and I've gathered quite a collection of music to help me do it. The right music can help put me right into that state where my mind is perfectly adrenalized, but calm and crystal clear; where electronic tones help me reach machinespace.

I used to have an online radio broadcast for my fellow webmutants at Live365, but that was back before they started charging money to have a station there.

Well, now webmutant radio is back, and better than ever.

You don't even have to wait for me to find MP3's to put up online -- thanks to the clever bastards at the Music Genome Project, this new incarnation uses their service, Pandora. All I've had to do is seed it with some artists I like, and it finds similar music to keep me going. Now, it can keep you going, too. Check it out.
